Voluntary Pre-Payment Program for 2025-26 Special Benefit Assessment

The Tuscan Water District (TWD) invites landowners within the district boundaries to participate in a voluntary pre-payment option for the upcoming 2025-26 Special Benefit Assessment. This assessment, approved by TWD landowners via Proposition 218, is set at a rate of $6.45 per acre.

Benefits of Pre-Payment:

• Ensures uninterrupted district operations from July through December 2025.
• Provides a credit, eliminating the need to pay this assessment later through the county property tax installments due in December 2025 and April 2026.

How to Participate:

• Landowners must pre-pay the full assessment for each parcel (APN) before July 1, 2025. Partial payments per parcel cannot be accepted.
• Complete Attachment A, detailing your parcel information, acreage, and total amount due.
• Submit your completed form and payment to TWD.

Transparency and Recordkeeping:

• Upon receipt of payment, TWD will issue a confirmation (Attachment B).
• Detailed pre-payment records will be maintained and made available upon request.
• Note: All pre-payments are non-refundable, even if TWD ceases operations.
